Socks for the Homeless Community!
This month is all about socks! Socks are often the most requested and yet least donated item in homeless shelters. That is why Give High Five partnered with the Rescue Mission in a Shelter & Safety project to provide socks and blankets to the homeless community.
The Rescue Mission of El Paso offers assistance to the homeless population in El Paso by providing meals, a place to stay, and other much needed resources.
In addition to donating hundreds of pairs of socks and blankets, Give High Five also organized a Crochet Party, where a team of volunteers helped to crochet socks for kids at the shelter!
